Buena Cerveza

Good Time Design, a large San Diego restaurant and entertainment group, commissioned Caava to design and develop their own beer brand, Buena Cerveza. This Mexican style lager was created in partnership with Coronado Brewing Company. Buena’s style is rooted in the classic graphic arts of screen printing and woodblock type. The beautiful Macaw was drawn by our favorite illustrator, Mitch Frey, who we worked with on another Good Time Design spirit project: Gaucho Rum. While this is an in-house product at the moment, it has been purposefully designed for breaking into mass market retail space.
